Open fields & Wicker chairs

Thanks to Mary Jane Murphy I was able to get some of my most favorite pictures of Laynie taken!

1st Beach Vacation: Destin 2011

Thank you so much Nana and Poppy for our first beach excursion! Laynie loved the sand, but not the ocean. Her day consisted of eating, napping on the beach, and then playing under the tent! Her and her pasty-self managed to get zero sun, thanks to SPF 60! The week was filled with eating, family, and fun...count day until next year!

Ear Piercing, oh my!

Nana took Laynie to get her ears pierced, because I didn't want to see or hear her cry! Her pediatrician's office actually did them. The first ear...no tears or screams....second ear....different story! Glad it was Nana and NOT mommy! Her diamonds do look precious though :) Here are some before and after shots!

St. Louis CARDINALS Game!!!

Laynie was fortunate enough to have Albert Pujols sign her shirt and baseball! She screamed bloody murder the whole time he autographed her shirt, ha ha ha! My cousin, Nate, threw out the 1st pitch and did great! So glad the whole family had the chance to experience a MLB game!

*4th of July*

Nothing lights up the sky like fireworks and our bright blue eyed Laynie!! Happy 4th of July!!!

Splish Splash

To Laynie, water is simply water. She loves the pool and she loves a bath! Nothing is as cute as a baby's legs kicking in the water. In early July Laynie had the opportunity to experience swimming in Nana's pool; so exciting! Of course, we had to have a few things for the occasion: new swimsuit, floppy hat, pool toys, the camera, and a new float! According to this picture...she LOVED it!

Expressions

Laynie has many facial expressions!!! She laughs, smile, smirks, sticks her bottom lip out when she is sad, and blows bubbles...just to name a few. Every morning and all day all you have to say is, "Hi" and she thinks it is funny! My favorite thing as a mom is waking up and saying Good Morning, and watching her smile, then at bedtime I kiss each side of her cheeks and let her feel my face. Being a mom is so rewarding.
